What began in 2021 with a $400 paycheck, a passion for creativity, and an entrepreneurial vision has grown into Venom Custom Brick Works (VenomCBW), an independently owned business dedicated to pushing the boundaries of custom LEGO-compatible products.

Founded by young entrepreneur Luke Bare, VenomCBW was built on a simple belief: ordinary products can become extraordinary when creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation come together.

Starting with limited resources and an ambitious vision, Luke began transforming his passion for collectibles and customization into a business. What initially started as a small operation has since evolved into a growing company serving collectors, builders, and enthusiasts around the world.

Today, VenomCBW continues to expand its capabilities, develop new products, and invest in the technologies that make increasingly ambitious creations possible.

Like many entrepreneurial ventures, VenomCBW wasn't built overnight.

Our journey has been defined by experimentation, long hours, financial risks, unexpected setbacks, and an unwavering commitment to improvement. What began as a small business operating out of a family home has grown into a dedicated production operation supported by a talented team of employees, artists, designers, and independent collaborators.

Over the years, we've expanded from basic customization into a diverse range of manufacturing and production capabilities, including:

At Venom Custom Brick Works, we believe customers should receive the products they pay for without waiting months—or even years—for production to begin.

That's why we've taken a firm stance against pre-orders. Rather than asking customers to fund products that haven't yet been manufactured, we invest our own resources into developing, producing, and stocking our inventory before making it available for purchase.

When you purchase from VenomCBW, you're purchasing a product that's already made and ready to ship. Not a promise of something that might arrive months down the road.

This philosophy extends to how we manufacture our products. We've made substantial investments in specialized machinery, equipment, and production infrastructure to bring our manufacturing processes in-house. From UV and pad printing to resin 3D printing, product development, and finishing, our team maintains direct oversight of the production process.

With the exception of our injection-molded components, which are manufactured through external production partners, our products are produced in-house. This allows us to maintain greater control over quality, production timelines, and inventory availability while reducing our dependence on outside manufacturers.

We understand that this approach requires greater financial investment, operational responsibility, and careful planning on our part. But we believe those responsibilities belong to us as a business, not to the customers who put their trust in our brand.

At VenomCBW, we believe the care that goes into creating our products should extend to how they're packaged and delivered.

We're committed to minimizing unnecessary single-use packaging materials while prioritizing product protection, reusability, and recyclability wherever practical.

Our approach includes:

• Minimal Single-Use Materials: We aim to reduce unnecessary disposable packaging and prioritize materials that serve a practical purpose.

• Paper Packing Slips: We use paper-based packing slips to accompany orders, avoiding unnecessary plastic document sleeves.

• Reusable Protective Cases: Many of our products are shipped in durable, reusable and recyclable plastic boxes that protect delicate items during transit. These cases also provide customers with a convenient way to safely store and preserve their prized collectibles long after delivery.

• Recyclable Cardboard Shipping Boxes: Larger orders are packaged in reusable and recyclable cardboard boxes, providing additional protection while offering an alternative to unnecessary plastic packaging.

• Recycled Paper Cushioning: Whenever appropriate, we utilize recycled paper packaging materials to cushion products during shipping, helping reduce our reliance on disposable plastic fillers.

We recognize that protecting detailed collectibles during shipping is essential, and we're continually working to balance that responsibility with more thoughtful packaging decisions.
